Bamako : Welcome at Bamako airport. Transfer and night at
the hotel.
Bamako is the lively capital of Mali. It doesn't have
major sights like Djenne or Mopti but it is a very pleasant
city, with good markets, friendly people and a laid back atmosphere.
Worth a couple of days. The museum is well worth a visit, with
a nice collection of masks, terracottas and an excellent collection
of textiles
J1 -BAMAKO - SEGOU - EXCURSION IN PINASSE - KALABOUGOU

Segou is mostly famous form the book by Maryse Conde.
It still is the main city of the Bambara tribe and it's located
near the remains of Mbella, the ancient Bambara capital. Segou
is a nice place to stop and catch your breath after the dust
and congestion of Bamako: It's a calm tree-lined city with more
than its share of friendly people. Monday is market day is a
good day to people watch and the best time to find the bright
hand-woven fabrics for which Segou is famous.

Country dogon: an unforgettable experience. The country
spreads on a cliff of about 200 kms. This region is classified
to the worldwide heritage of the Unesco. It is one of the most
ancient civilizations of Africa, the more mysterious and most
fascinating as. Every house, every recess of land, every village
possesses an history that summarizes them marvellously "ginna",
these "houses of the patriarch" with the sculpted
doors. We will visit some villages that will open you their
hearts !. The architecture of houses, of attics to thousand
(round or square), of togunas to the thick roofing where cram
stems of thousand, as well as underground cave of tellemses
serving today of burial places, the dance of masks, the crowd
of markets that repeats baffled himself of a village to the
other every five day, composes strong pictures.

With its thirteen villages, Sangha constitutes the point
of departure of all excursions to the Dogoncountry.
It's to Sangha that the cliff is most astonishing. There are magnificent
villages of which Bananis and its 4 districts, Ireli, Tireli where
troglodyteses are most impressive. There are some sacred crocodiles
in the village of Amani…
